| The following is a list of prayers to pray over our nation from the scriptures. This is by no means a complete list of prayers that can be derived from the word of God but surely, this will get you started as you stand in the gap for revival in the United States of America. You can copy and paste any or all of these prayers and share them with your church members. Remember, pray it like you mean it, and mean it with your whole heart when you say it. "First of all, Father, I pray for our president and all who are in authority over us, I ask that you would move upon their hearts that they might follow after and exalt righteousness and holiness in our nation. Satan I bind you and break your power over the mind, will and emotions of our president and all our government officials and I command you Satan, to loose our president and government officials from all spiritual blindness, in the name of Jesus." "Father God, I declare and decree that revival is breaking out in the United States of America, from the White House, to my house. I declare that the purifying fire of the Holy Ghost is sweeping across the United States of America and men and women and children everywhere are turning their hearts to righteousness and holiness and are seeking the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, in the name of Jesus Christ." "Father God, I pray that a holy boldness would come upon all of Your people who are called by Your name and that they would rise up all over this great nation and confront evil wherever it is found. "Father God, I ask You to move upon the hearts of our Senators and Congressmen in Washington who are called by Your name, that they may boldly stand against all unrighteousness and perversion in our nation by refusing to enact laws that are contrary to Your word, and contrary to the Constitution of the United States of America, in Jesus name." "Father God, I lift up before You our Supreme Court Justices. Lord, I ask that you fill them with the knowledge of your will. Lord, give them a hunger for Your word, that they might know You, that they might know what is right and what is wrong. Give them a thirst for righteousness and holiness. Give them the boldness, Lord, to stand against the onslaught of perversion that is attacking the American family and against attacks upon the United States Constitution. In Jesus name." |
